New Forum Reference Group

One of the outcomes of our engagement events in 2017 was an agreement to establish a Forum Reference Group. The purpose of the reference group will be for participants to provide support and advice on some of the Forum’s work. This will include discussion about promoting the Forum, the hearing process and reports about the work of the Forum. You need to have taken part in the Forum to be involved.

We really value the input and feedback from those who have experience of a childhood in care and we invite you to get involved in our new reference group. To help you decide, we have shared some practical information:

 

  • Meetings will be once every three months
  • Meetings will take place in different locations in Scotland
  • The Forum will organise and pay for your travel and accommodation
  • Members will be compensated for their time
