37 hours per week, Fixed Term to March 2019

£33,171 - £36,857 per annum

The National Confidential Forum is looking for a highly motivated researcher to join the team; to work collaboratively with people with care experience and other stakeholders to deliver at a national level. Based on the testimonies received to date by the Forum, this individual will be key to identifying patterns and trends in the experiences of persons placed in institutional care as children, including any abuse that may have occurred. 

We are looking for an individual who has thorough experience of qualitative methodology and is accustomed to the challenges of working with sensitive interview data.  The post is fixed term until March 2019 with the potential for extension. The post will be supervised in partnership with the University of Edinburgh. 

The post holder will be critical in helping shape and deliver information for the exchange of knowledge with participants and other stakeholders. They will be pivotal in delivering a report and associated by-products to the Scottish Government and other involved parties.
